🌍 Geography Laboratory

The Geography Laboratory at Naveen Vidyapeeth T.T. College is well-equipped to provide practical and experiential learning to B.Ed. and integrated programme students. The lab is designed to help student-teachers develop conceptual clarity, analytical skills, and hands-on experience in geographical studies.
The laboratory contains a rich collection of physical and political maps of India and the world, topographical sheets (Survey of India), thematic maps, globes, models, charts, and atlases. Students are trained in map reading, contour interpretation, scale calculation, and spatial analysis as part of their practical curriculum.
Special emphasis is given to developing teaching skills through the preparation of teaching aids such as relief models, charts, and field survey reports. The lab also supports activities related to environmental studies, weather observation, and basic cartographic techniques.
The Geography Lab plays a significant role in preparing future teachers by integrating theory with practical applications, ensuring effective classroom teaching and real-world understanding.
